Does the video need to be in English?
For example lets say i want to make a trailer/advert for a german pvp help channel. The focus is clearly German speaking Pilots who are interested in pvp, so for me it would make sense to the text and voiceover on germen. But is that allowed? Problem solved. No can do! My spoken English has a _very_ thick German accent :D "Join ze Pe Fau Pe Hilf+ñ Ch+ñt" Maybe i can use it as an advantage somehow. Overact it and turn it into a joke.
The problem is not the viewers, they probably can understand English or otherwise they would not watch the tournament. But the production would be much more cost effective.
No biggie. German blog about smallscale lowsec pvp: http://friendsofharassment.wordpress.com |

Can i get multiple slots of i make different videos for different corps/services that have nothing to do with each other? Beside me as the video creator.
Or do i have to trick you by asking someone else to send it in? :D German blog about smallscale lowsec pvp: http://friendsofharassment.wordpress.com |

So why those corps would have to create ads in english just for other non-interested people to understand it? You are alienating lot of corporations and alliances with this rule. He did say "should". Thats his own opinion and you do not have to follow that at all. If you are, lets say a german corp, with only germans, obv you might want to have your ad in german. You are free to do so if you wish. Its not CCPs job to judge what the public will think of it as long as it follows the rules. Well, the rules say: * Content must be respectable (no attack ads) and suitable for broadcastOne could assume that is also implies that the majority of the viewers can actually understand it. suitable for broadcast? Nice, so no bad dub-step music anymore? Yay \o/ German blog about smallscale lowsec pvp: http://friendsofharassment.wordpress.com |

Will you, CCP, normalize the sound? Like if you ad has really loud music and another one has more gentle music, will you adjust that? For example that Dark Taboo ad from last time was annoyingly loud. German blog about smallscale lowsec pvp: http://friendsofharassment.wordpress.com |
